Awakening



Summary:

Platform: Mobile (Samsung Gear)

Awakening is a short virtual reality point and click adventure created for the Samsung Gear. The player has to switch between seasons (summer and winter) and interact with objects hidden in the environment to progress. Of course, certain items can only be interacted with in one season. As the player progressess, more and more chains are vanishing. The player is awakening something... The game was created in 48 hours and tested our ability to create a game for virtual reality on mobile.

Roles:

I functioned as designer, concepting in the early stage and creating the levels/world later on. I also added the camera splines and some of the gameplay to the level. Set dressing was later done by our artists. Aside from that, I designed the puzzles together with Laszlo Pieper.
